BioStaci Dawn Billings' life adventure began on April 22, 1973. She was born on Earth Day, Easter Sunday, two minutes before dawn. Interestingly, her name means “resurrection and dawn”. These two facts build the foundation that has made Staci’s life all about seeking personal truth and fulfilling her destiny of bringing light into darks areas of life. Staci’s spiritual foundation began when she attended a parochial school. Her ability to see the light in darkness started at the age of six and has continued to progress to speaking with people who have passed over, animal communication, channeling information and accurately helping people discover their destiny. Her personal integrity and lack of ego ensure that her assistance to others and to herself is directed with unconditional love and benefiting all persons involved for the greater good of the whole. Staci joined the United States Navy in 1993 as a Hospital Corpsman for an aviation unit based out of Hawaii. She served her command and people with great dedication and courage. For her efforts, she received two NAVY Achievement Medals. She completed three WESTPAC tours and received numerous other military accomplishments such as Blue Jacket Sailor of the Pacific Fleet and Airman of the Quarter. She has traveled to Japan, Korea, Ireland, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Bahamas, Middle Eastern Countries, British Territories, and numerous other islands throughout the India and Pacific Oceans. Staci’s love for adventure and travel is an important part of learning new cultures and enhances her spiritual tools to promote peace and unconditional love for each other. After six years of active duty in the United States Navy, Staci joined the Hawaii Air National Guard as an Education Trainer for a medical unit. She trained thousands of reserve members preparing them for deployment. She achieved two honorable discharges from military service. Staci attended Leeward Community college in Hawaii and received her AAS in 1999. She completed her junior and senior years at the University of Hawaii in one year, graduating with honors. While a student there, she worked for the Office of International Affairs, preparing safety material for students traveling abroad. Her major was Communications and Sociology. In 2001, Staci moved to Saratoga, New York, and started her career in not-for-profit organizations. She started as a Campaign Manager for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Shortly thereafter, she accepted the position of Executive Director for the Adirondack Vets House, a transitional house for homeless veterans. Staci personally developed the program and agency, making it the top-ranking Veterans Administration Homeless House in New York. Within a Staci continued her education by graduating from SUNY in 2007 with a Masters Degree in Liberal Studies, with an emphasis on conflict resolution. Staci believes that in order to have peace we must first find it within ourselves. Only then can we give it to another. Staci has been dedicated to her community since she was a child. Whether it has been feeding the homeless, collecting clothes for domestic violence victims, or visiting with the elderly, she believes that altruism is the fundamental core of one’s spiritual journey. |
